AAPM&R Publishes Curriculum for Training Resources

This July, the AAOM was excited to give an Affirmation of Value to the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) publication Curriculum for Training in Orthobiologics.

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) released the Curriculum for Training in Orthobiologics, which is now available. The American Academy/Association of Orthopedic Medicine is one of four organizations that have given an Affirmation of Value to this curriculum.

The American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R) creates education and training curricula to define the knowledge, skills and attitudes that physiatrists should aspire to achieve when practicing in specific clinical areas.  This includes competencies that should be achieved during residency training as well as more advanced competencies for clinical practice.  These curricula are intentionally broad in scope to define the spectrum of training needs, and are intended to be used and tailored by those designing education and training programs and/or individuals who want to benchmark their own competencies and identify education needs.

We encourage everyone to take a look at the valuable information here
