AAOM Welcomes Five New IROM Certified Inductees
Five AAOM members recently joined the elite ranks of physicians who can call themselves IROM Certified (IROM-C) by the AAOM. IROM-C is a proprietary, industry-leading program of the AAOM that establishes a minimum competency for physicians in the field of Interventional Regenerative Orthopedic Medicine. Each inductee completed the requirements to pass program standards during the week of May 3, 2024, at the FCM - Universidad Nacional de Rosario Faculty de Ciencias Médicas in Rosario, Argentina.

IROM Certification requirements include participation and instruction at an AAOM-sponsored cadaver course; passing a 100-question written exam; and, an evidencing of applied knowledge and skill during a practical exam taken at an international workshop/mission.

The next written exam will be held on August 9, 2024 in Novi, Michigan, in advance of the Extremities Injection Techniques Workshop (More). A written exam is also scheduled for April 3, 2025 in conjunction with OTX25 in Vancouver, WA, USA.
The next practical exam will be held September 1-6 in Cancun, Mexico, in conjunction with the Live Patient Ultrasound Diagnostic & Injection Course. More
